Alongside Aegon, we set the vision to create a dynamic communications campaign on future saving, called: ‘Wage after work,’ which we delivered to their workplace clients.

The activity centered around a series of engaging workplace events, whereby we were on hand to answer any pension questions and offer employee’s face-to-face pension guidance within a fun and unique environment.

Through other marketing collateral, all produced for the campaign, such as promotional animations, email marketing, desk drops and banners - we developed a powerful campaign that was delivered across multiple channels. The reaction we received from employees and HR/Pension Managers was hugely positive and complementary. Employees felt valued by their employers and were highly motivated to take action with their pension savings.

To follow up on this highly successful activity, we devised a series of FAQ films. The videos enabled employees to view the content at their leisure and further allowed them to gain a better understanding of the various topics we discussed during the workplace activity.

Schneider Electric needed to boost their employee engagement with the company pension scheme, in order to empower their members to make more informed & educated choices about their pensions.

We transformed their usual printed communications into a series of 2D animated videos, packed with character and charm. Each video breaks down the different topics within the scheme to result in a much simpler, more digestible and appealing communications tool to the audience.

The videos generated a step-change towards the perceptions of pensions amongst their workforce. Schneider were hugely satisfied with the fresh, “out of the box” views/ideas on script, language and graphics we delivered for this project.

Their data shows, video is key to communicating with their members and ensuring their customers feel better informed, more connected and are left feeling more satisfied with the information.

Together with Legal & General we have developed virtual reality technology to encourage behavioural change amongst customers for the better when it comes to saving for the future.

Research has shown you can make better decisions if you can see your older self. There’s also a great deal of research suggesting that emotional responses are heightened when you can give people vivid examples, and as more and more younger generations join the workforce, we have to find ways to connect with them through the kinds of immersive experiences young people expect. At Pension Geeks, we are hugely passionate about progressing this technology and to be transformational, so that we can give people a completely vivid, immersive and emotional experience of what their retirement will look like.

JLT asked us to strengthen the awareness of their Pension Decision Service, in order to simplify the pensions messaging for members and to enable them to make informed choices about their retirement.

The first step was to create a brand for the service, whereby we generated several relatable and appealing box style characters. We then devised a communications campaign strategy, of which the campaign’s centerpiece was a workplace roadshow, taking place with a Pension Decision Service double decker bus.

We visited four clients over three consecutive days, to bring the pensions conversation into workplaces and to offer general pensions guidance to employees. We created a variety of marketing collateral for the campaign, which included: video, animation, brochures, posters, banners and cardboard characters.

To keep the pensions momentum going, we produced a series of short explainer animated videos to help employees gain a better understanding of pension topics in a clear and concise way. The campaign received excellent engagement - with the videos generating over 18,793 combined views. On average, people watched 85% of each video’s content.

Aviva commissioned us to create a series of informative animations that delivered a high level of educational content in less than 90 seconds.

The purpose of the videos is to give customers a better understanding of various pension topics, such as salary sacrifice, pension options and workplace pensions - to name but a few, in an appealing, digestible and simple way. Our specialist in-house scriptwriters shaped the messaging into real everyday language. This combined with the right visual approach ensured optimum engagement from the audience, enabling them to absorb the information and make informed choices about their finances. This left the audience feeling much more motivated by the information they received.
